Jurying
Every attempt will be made to have a blind jury, meaning the names of the artists will not be disclosed by the members assisting the jurying process during the jurying process.
Jurying will be done by a juror outside the BCC DAC membership, or those entering a show. A member may be selected as an assistant juror. That member should not enter the show he/she is an assistant juror for. The juror not the assistant juror has the final say in the vote of "in" or "out".
Members will be needed to assist the jurying process. These members are there to listen only, not to contribute to the dialog of the jurying process. They may answer questions from the entered materials, such as title, dimensions, year, etc., or they may be asked to read the artist statement, all this without disclosing the entrant’s name.
