We want to encourage you to become members BCCDAC and exhibit your work on our website.

We will display VIDEOS and ANIMATIONS that meet the following specs:

• max width and height = 360 x 240 pixels
• format: .flv
• .swf files will also be accepted for flash animations
• Length: 5 minute max
• Limit: 2 videos or animations per artist
• Include one still in .jpg format from each project
• In your documentation be sure to include your name, artist statement if desired, your email and/or URL if desired.
  

Submit by CD or DVD to Jan Dove's instructor mailbox by hand or US POST: BCC, 2050 Center St. Berkeley CA 94704.

We will display STILL IMAGES that meet the following specs:

• max height = 450 pixels
• max width = 350 pixels
• format: jpg
• max resolution = 72 ppi
• Limit: 4 images per artist
• Title: files must be titled 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, 4.jpg. (Please put any other info in your documentation, not in the file name.)
• In your documentation be sure to include text titles corresponding to numbered .jpg files, your name, artist statement if desired, your email and/or URL if desired.

We are especially interested in expanding our showcase to the category of WEB ART.

We are challenging you artists working in photography, photoshop compositing, interactivity, animation, video, and web design to use the internet to make art that could not exist in any other way. We will be happy to link Web Art sites by members of BCCDAC. Send URL, one paragraph describing your site, and a screen grab for each site (.jpg, 72 ppi. 200 pixel width). Don't have a host for your site? Contact jandove@lmi.net.

Paintings, Drawings, Prints

We will show the work of our friends in the art department who wish to become members of the Digital Arts Club. Please follow submission procedures for Still Images.

Members may show work in more than one category. Members can have links from the DAC website to their personal sites. We would appreciate a reciprocal link from your site. We are accepting submissions now.

How much does this cost? It is free to members of the Digital Arts Club at Berkeley City College.

How do I become a member? Membership is open to any student or instructor in the Berkeley City College Multimedia Arts/Art department. To become a member, come to a meeting held on the 3rd Friday of each month, 4th floor, 5:30 to 7PM. Get involved.
