Digital Printmaking The process of digital printmaking starts with a variety of image sources both electronic and organic that are digitally manipulated with editing software. The images are then processed using large-format printers and can be printed on a variety of media types such as paper, canvas, fabric and other materials. In the future, the (BCCDAC) will expand its range of media displayed to include motion graphics, video, web design, animation, sound design and other related disciplines. The BCCDAC intends to engaged in the Bay Area community at large via workshops, exhibitions and collaborative efforts. A wide variety of display media is evident in print production, from prints on watercolor paper to canvas to other surfaces. Club members’ works range from abstract to representational, from photographic and realistic to fantastic and minimal.
