As a digital art student at Berkeley City College I seem to have gravitated toward making photographic images which I alter in Photoshop. I have chosen to do images that can be interpreted as humorous and that is one of my goals right now, in this age of terror and horrifying news imagery. I also very much enjoy photographing "found art" out in the worldor at home, images that we all see but seldom appreciate. My bachelors degree is in Biochemistry from UC Berkeley, and since I don'tenjoy using it in the work world, I am hoping to use my art. Interestingly, as an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, I was hired by the Financial Aid Department to make signs as an artist. That job was more profitable than most of my science jobs, and more fun. |
