I’ve loved photographic images since I entered the darkroom at thirteen, watching surprises come to life in the tray of developer under the red safelight. Now I’ve discovered the digital scanner, and arranging collages of negatives and objects. It’s a similar thrill of creating images, but there are different questions to be answered. What is the subject? The object? Until I answer these questions definitively (and I won’t) I will pursue composition. |
