April 28, 2008, Berkeley, CA —

BCC DAC at East Bay Open Studios 2008

Thirty-three members of the Berkeley City College Digital Arts Club (DAC) will exhibit art during the Pro Arts East Bay Open Studios—2008 [EBOS]. Digital movie showcases and digital printmaking lab tours will run concurrently with the exhibition.

Berkeley City College (located in a new award-winning “green” building at 2050 Center Street) is
a block west of the Downtown Berkeley BART Station.

The Digital Arts Club exhibit (the largest EBOS venue) shows many genres and styles including digital prints, traditional painting, and craft–related arts. The exhibition (open daily from 11 AM to 6 PM) runs weekends only, beginning June 7 & 8, and continuing on June 14 & 15.

Since it’s inception in 2006, the Digital Arts Club—has exhibited art throughout the Bay Area, including galleries in Alameda, Berkeley, Marin, Oakland, San Pablo, Sea Ranch and Vallejo. Club membership is available to students in Multimedia and Fine Arts at Berkeley City College.
